The Oscars took place in the U.S. on Sunday night.
Conan O'Brien hosted the award ceremony for the first time.
Adam Sandler made a surprise appearance, where he dressed in a sweatshirt and shorts while running down the theatre to see his 'friend' Timothée Chalamet.

One of the most important moments of the night was when ‘No Other Land’ won ‘Best documentary feature’. The directors used this time to highlight the devastation in Gaza: “we call on the world to take serious actions to stop the injustice and to stop the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people."
