The Emmy Awards took place on Monday, 15th January. 

The 75th annual ceremony was initially set to take place in September but was postponed due to the dual writers' and actors' strikes.

The award ceremony saw the reunion of original cast members from 'Greys Anatomy', including Justin Chambers who played Alex.

Elton John won his first Emmy, making him an EGOT winner. Unfortunately, Elton hurt his knee, so he was unable to attend the ceremony.
