Cyclone Tej hits Oman

Cyclone Tej is strengthening, at the time of posting this it is positioned approximately 500 km from Oman's coastline with wind speeds of 100-112 knots.

As a result of the severity of Cyclone Tej, a two-day holiday has been announced in Dhofar.

Due to the exceptional climate conditions that the Sultanate of Oman is currently experiencing, the authority has declared Monday 23rd, and Tuesday 24th October to be an official two-day holiday for employees in the public and private sectors in the Dhofar governorate and the wilayat of Al Jazir in Al Wusta governorate.
