Adidas made Bella the face of a retro sneaker referencing the 1972 Munich Olympics, where 11 Israeli Athletes were taken hostage and murdered by terrorists.
Hadid felt Adidas lacked public accountability for making her the face of this campaign.
As a half Palestinian, who supports and advocates for Palestinian rights, the model has not been happy being connected with this.

Adidas apologized, saying they never meant to make a statement via connection to historical tragedies.
Adidas has now announced that it is revising its campaign.
