The event will commence later today at Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Meshal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait
As part of the prestigious ceremony, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin will also attend the tournament’s opening match, featuring Oman’s national team against the host nation, Kuwait. The match will take place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sabah al Khalid al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait.
The championship, a celebrated regional sporting event, brings together football teams from across the Arabian Gulf to compete for glory, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating nations.
