Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from Sheikh Mishal al Ahmed al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. The message includes an invitation for His Majesty to attend the 45th GCC Summit, scheduled to take place in Kuwait next month.

The message was delivered to Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, during a meeting in Muscat with Abdullah Ali Abdullah al Yahya, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and Envoy of the Emir.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Oman and Kuwait and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourhood Department, Dr. Mohammed al Hajri, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Oman, and several officials from both countries.
