Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq conferred Royal orders to several distinguished members of the Royal family and government ministers at Al Barakah Palace on November 19, 2024, as part of the 54th Glorious National Day celebrations. The awards were presented in recognition of their significant contributions to the nation’s development and their dedication to national duties.

Among the notable recipients:

  • Oman First Order was awarded to HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Honorary President of the Oman’s Promising Startups Programme.

Oman Civil Order (2nd Grade) recipients included:

  • H H Sayyid Taimour bin Asa’ad al Said, Chairman of Oman Central Bank’s Board of Governors.
  • H H Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar.
