Muscat – H M Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik conferred Royal Medals upon a number of Highnesses and Excellencies during a ceremony held this morning at Al Barakah Palace, as part of the Sultanate’s celebrations of the 54th Glorious National Day.
The awards were granted in recognition of their outstanding contributions and dedication to national service.
In a notable gesture, His Majesty bestowed the ‘First Order of Oman’ (Wisam Al Oman) upon His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and His Highness Sayyid Belarab bin Haitham al Said, Honorary President of the Oman’s Promising Startups Programme.
The ceremony highlighted the pivotal role played by the honourees in supporting the nation’s progress and prosperity, further emphasising His Majesty’s appreciation for their unwavering commitment.
